You can do the following for extra credit. There is a limit of 15 extra credit points per term. All assignments must be turned in to be eligible to do extra credit . You can turn in assignments after the late work deadline and receive no credit in order to qualify for extra credit opportunities.
- Perform an experiment that we did in class (or from a Bill Nye video) for your parents and explain to them the concept that you learned. Fill out the extra credit form and return it to me signed by a parent or guardian. You will receive 2 points for doing the experiment and 3 points for writing a good explanation of the concept that the experiment demonstrates. Click here for a list of for experiments and demonstrations done in class. Up to 5 points can be received for each experiment.

- Bring in materials that Mr. Jolley asks for in the classroom. Listen closely in class for these opportunities.

- Watch the full episode online of a documentary from Nature, NOVA or National Geographic. Click on the links below to get to the full episodes on their website.
To get extra credit you need to write half a page on what you saw, and have your parents sign an extra credit form saying that you watched it.
